Administration Console

What is administration console?

It is a website allowing administrator of the team to view team statistics, manage users and manage billing information.

Who is the administrator of the team?

The user who creates a new team at the sign up web page is automatically assigned as an administrator of the team. In current version, only one administrator is allowed. Multiple administrators in a team will be supported shortly.

Who can login the administration console?

Only team administrator can login the administration console.

Who can add new user to a team?

Only team administrator can add new user to a team through the administration console.

What is the difference between creating a new account at the sign up web page and inside the administration console?

When a user creates a new account at the sign up web page, a new team will be created and this user will be automatically assigned as an administrator of the team. This user can login both administration console and Connectie mobile App.
Administrator of the team can create new users in the administration console, these newly created users can only login the Connectie mobile App but not the administration console.

In the “Number of Messages Sent” pie chart in the dashboard page, can I see statistics older than 14 days?

No, exact statistics of previous 14 days is shown in currently version. Statistic older than 14 days will be provided shortly.
Account Management

What should I do if I forgot my password?

You can use the “forgot password” function in Connectie App. A reset password link will be sent to your registered email address. After clicking this link, your password will be reset and a new password will be sent to your registered email address.

What should I do if I lose my mobile phone that installed with Connectie App?

You can either use the “forgot password” function or contact the administrator to reset your password. After resetting the password, a new password will be sent to your registered email and all existing login sessions will be terminated.

Why I cannot modify my profile except voice and mobile phone number?

Connectie is specially designed for business. Most of our customers expect the contact list to be served as a company directory reflecting the official information of the user. These profiles can be updated in the administration console by the administrator.

When will the official version released?

The official version of dedicated cloud and on-premises model has been already released. The official version of Software-as-a-Service will be released in 1 – 2 months.

Which cloud computer services is Connectie using?

Connectie is using Aamzon Web Services which offers reliable, secure and scalable cloud computing services.

How accurate is the emotion analysis and personality analysis?

This is one of the many important questions to which researchers in the artificial intelligence field are seeking answers. We are writing a blog post to share our view. Stay tuned.

Can the emotion and personality analysis be enabled/disabled for the whole team?

Yes, the administrator can enable or disabled them in the administration console. If the administrator disables them, no messages will be input to the analysis service. As a result, both administrator and users will receive no analysis result.

Will the administrator see my emotion and personality analysis result?

It depends on your privacy setting of emotion and personality analysis. If it is set to “seen by everyone”, the administrator of team can see your individual results. If it is set to “only seen by me” or “seen by nobody”, both the administrator of team and other teammates can NOT see your individual results.

Will other teammates see my emotion and personality analysis result?

A particular teammate can see your individual results only if both of you and this teammate have set “seen by everyone” in the privacy setting of emotion and personality analysis.

Why I cannot see my teammate’s emotion and personality analysis result?

There are several possibilities prevent you from seeing other teammates’ result.
1. The administrator has disabled the analysis services for the whole team.
2. That particular teammate has set “only seen by me” or “seen by nobody” in the privacy setting of emotion and personality analysis.
3. You have set “only seen by me” or “seen by nobody” in the privacy setting of emotion and personality analysis.
Changing to “only seen by me” or “seen by nobody” will also prevent you from seeing other teammates’ results.

When will the emotion analysis service provide the first analysis result to me?

More words of input text will provide better results and improve the accuracy. In order to provide a better result, emotion analyzer will provide first analysis result after you have sent more than 100 messages.

When will the personality analysis service provide the first analysis result to me?

Personality analysis service requires more words of input text to provide a more accurate result. Therefore, personality analysis service will provide first analysis result after you have sent more than 500 messages.

What languages are being supported by emotion analysis service and personality analysis service support?

Currently, emotion analysis service supports English only. Personality analysis service supports English, Arabic, Japanese, and Spanish. More languages will be supported in early 2017.

What forms of payment does Connectie accept?

We accept visa card, master card and PayPal.

Which payment gateway service is used by Connectie?

Our payment gateway service is provided by Braintree, a division of PayPal.

What is the different between SaaS, dedicated cloud and on premise model?

For the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, we take care of all the application hosting, capacity, availability, performance, security, backup and recovery. You can simply sign up at our website and enjoy our services. Price is available at the pricing page.
For the dedicated cloud model, we will set up a separate cloud environment which is completed isolated from other teams with its own dedicated security, capacity and performance. You may contact us for a price quotation.
For the on premise model, we will install Connectie in your own datacenter. You may contact us for a price quotation.

Will Connectie automatically upgrade my plan?

No, only the administrator can upgrade the plan in the administration console.

How many storage space does my team have?

Total number of storage space will be assigned to the team bases on the type of plan chosen and number of users registered. The storage space will be shared by the whole team. For example, if your team has chosen free plan, total 5GB storage space will be assigned. If your team has chosen standard plan and there are 20 users in the team, total 100GB (20 x 5) storage space will be assigned.

How does Connectie count my team storage usage?

All the messages and media files sent by the team will be securely saved on our cloud storage. The total cloud storage used to save these messages and media files will be counted. Storage space is shared by the whole team.

What is Connectie points?

Connectie points is designed for calculating how many artificial intelligence services can be consumed by a team. You may refer to the table in pricing page for how many points is required for each type of services. The reason for different number of Connectie points deducted by each service call is because computing resources being consumed by each artificial intelligence services are different.

How many Connectie points does my team have?

Total number of Connectie points will be assigned to the team bases on the type of plan chosen and number of users registered. For example, if your team has chosen free plan, total 15,000 Connectie points will be assigned no matter how many users in the team. If your team has chosen standard plan and there are 20 users in the team, total 200,000 Connectie points (20 x 10,000) will be assigned. The Connectie points will be shared by the whole team.

How does Connectie count my team Connectie points?

Connectie points will be deducted when artificial intelligence service is being used. The number of Connectie points required for each service is different, you may refer to the table in pricing page. Connectie points is shared by the whole team. For example, if emotional analysis service has been consumed 1 time for user A and 2 times for user B, totally 300 Connectie points (3 x 100) will be deducted.

What is the difference between storage per team in free plan and storage per user in the standard plan?

For free plan, totally 5GB storage space will be assigned. For standard plan, you may add more than thousands of users into the team. More users will more likely require more storage space for saving messages and media files. Therefore, when one additional user is being added to the team, additional 5GB storage space will be assigned to the team. Both the previous assigned and newly assigned storage space will be shared by the whole team.

What is the difference between Connectie points per team in free plan and Connectie points per user in the standard plan?

For free plan, totally 15,000 Connectie points will be assigned. For standard plan, you may add more than thousands of users into the team. More users will more likely require more Connectie points for consuming artificial intelligence services. Therefore, when one additional user is being added to the team, additional 10,000 Connectie points will be assigned to the team. Both the previous assigned and newly assigned Connectie points will be shared by the whole team.

How can I purchase additional storage or Connectie points?

For free plan, you will need to upgrade to standard plan first. For standard plan, you can increase storage and Connectie points by purchasing additional user subscription.

If a user login multiple devices at the same time, does it count one user or two users in Connectie charging model?

Only one user is counted.

How can I upgrade my plan?

The administrator can go to the “billing management” page in the administration console to upgrade.

Will my plan be automatically upgraded?

No, we will not upgrade your plan. Only the administrator of your team can upgrade it in the administration console.

Can I switch from annual to monthly subscription?

Please note that the annual subscription cannot be converted into a monthly one in course of a running period. You can only switch to monthly payments after the annual subscription is over.
