Administration Console

What is administration console?

It is a website allowing administrator of the team to view team statistics and manage users.

Who is the administrator of the team?

The user who creates a new team at the sign up web page is automatically assigned as an administrator of the team. In current version, only one administrator is allowed. Multiple administrators in a team will be supported shortly.

Who can login the administration console?

Only team administrator can login the administration console.

Who can add new user to a team?

Only team administrator can add new user to a team through the administration console.

What is the difference between creating a new account at the sign up web page and inside the administration console?

When a user creates a new account at the sign up web page, a new team will be created and this user will be automatically assigned as an administrator of the team. This user can login both administration console and Connectie mobile App.
Administrator of the team can create new users in the administration console, these newly created users can only login the Connectie mobile App but not the administration console.

In the “Number of Messages Sent” pie chart in the dashboard page, can I see statistics older than 14 days?

No, exact statistics of previous 14 days is shown in currently version. Statistic older than 14 days will be provided shortly.
Account Management

What should I do if I forgot my password?

You can use the “forgot password” function in Connectie App. A reset password link will be sent to your registered email address. After clicking this link, your password will be reset and a new password will be sent to your registered email address.

What should I do if I lose my mobile phone that installed with Connectie App?

You can either use the “forgot password” function or contact the administrator to reset your password. After resetting the password, a new password will be sent to your registered email and all existing login sessions will be terminated.
Application

Why I cannot modify my profile except voice and mobile phone number?

Connectie is specially designed for business. Most of our customers expect the contact list to be served as a company directory reflecting the official information of the user. These profiles can be updated in the administration console by the administrator.

Which cloud computer services is Connectie using?

Connectie is using Aamzon Web Services which offers reliable, secure and scalable cloud computing services.
SaaS, private cloud and on premise model

What is the different between SaaS, private cloud and on premise model?

For the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, we take care of all the application hosting, capacity, availability, performance, security, backup and recovery. You can simply sign up at our website and enjoy our services. Price is available at the pricing page.
For the private cloud model, we will set up a separate cloud environment which is completed isolated from other teams with its own dedicated security, capacity and performance. You may contact us for a price quotation.
For the on premise model, we will install Connectie in your own datacenter. You may contact us for a price quotation.
Pricing

Will Connectie automatically upgrade my plan?

No, only the administrator can upgrade the plan in the administration console.

How many storage space does my team have?

Total number of storage space will be assigned to the team bases on the type of plan chosen and number of users registered. The storage space will be shared by the whole team. For example, if your team has chosen free plan, total 5GB storage space will be assigned.

How does Connectie count my team storage usage?

All the messages and media files sent by the team will be securely saved on our cloud storage. The total cloud storage used to save these messages and media files will be counted. Storage space is shared by the whole team.

What is the difference between storage per team in free plan and storage per user in the standard plan?

For free plan, totally 5GB storage space will be assigned. For private cloud or on-permise plan, you will be responsible for your cloud infrastructure payment, Connectie, as an application, will not limit your storage size.

If a user login multiple devices at the same time, does it count one user or two users in Connectie charging model?

Only one user is counted.

How can I upgrade my plan?

The administrator can place a message at the contact us page or email to contact@connectie.com

Will my plan be automatically upgraded?

No, we will not upgrade your plan. Only the administrator of your team can upgrade it.
